Kofi and I had the honor and pleasure to work together to photograph our friend Peter outfitted in the Yeak Archetype of Krong Reap.

Bong Peter, a Khmer-American, found a way to connect within his roots through Khmae dance. With several years of experience in dance, Peter brings on new works and choreographies converging contemporary dance and classical Khmae ballet together. As co-founder and Artistic Director of Urban Khmer Ballet—his previous works ignite critical conversations on tradition, post-colonialism, neo-classical dance, and its evolution.

So happy that we were all able to collaborate together back home in the motherland. One of my best and favorite collaborations this year hands down.
