The Reconstruction: Renewal on Khmer Youth is an initiative to connect with other Khmer artists of the diaspora to collaborate on projects and aspire the next generation of Khmer Youth in an effort to continue the longevity of Khmer culture, language, and people. Reconstruction was the term used due to the construction of Khmer temples, buildings, and structures that are happening all over the United States. This metaphor is congruent to the resurgence of reclaiming the Khmer identity after the Cambodian Genocide.
